Law 6.533/1978 regulates the artist profession, and on long-form bookings CLT contracts, FGTS, INSS social-security contributions, 13º salário, and paid vacation are planned into the cast budget. Visiting foreign performers need the right visa; Decree 9.199/2017 provides a temporary visa for artistic activities.
