HMI inventory at Cinerent Brasil and Cor & Som carries ARRI Max 18K and 12K daylight fixtures, ARRI M-Series (M40, M18, M8) flickerless ballast pairs, ARRI L-Series LED fresnels for hybrid sets, and the full K5600 Joker line. Joker 800, 1200, 1600, and the popular Joker Bug 400 / 800 for run-and-gun and natural-light fill. Tungsten side keeps ARRI True Blue 5K, 2K, 1K, and 650W fresnels alongside Mole-Richardson Senior, Junior, and Tweenie heads. Plus Dedolight DLH4 + DLH1000 for tight tabletop and product work.

Here is the breakdown. On the ground, Globo Estúdios PROJAC, Casablanca Studios São Paulo, and O2 Filmes carry permanent tungsten and HMI rigs from their steady telenovela and feature pipelines. ARRI Brasil and the Mole-Richardson lineage have decades of presence in the country. Cross-border top-up from Sigma Cine LA on the 12-hour direct GRU flight handles oversize loadouts when a feature exceeds resident stock.

Here is the short of it. Brazil's dual-voltage grid is the operational quirk each electric package has to plan around. São Paulo runs 127V/60Hz, the Northeast (Recife, Salvador) and Manaus run 220V/60Hz, Brasília and the South sit on 220V/60Hz, and the mixed grid drives each HMI ballast and tungsten dimmer choice — we provision step-up/down transformers, flicker-free 60Hz ballasts, and dedicated 13.8 kV industrial tie-ins at major studios when load demands. Tie-ins route through Light SA in Rio, Eletropaulo / Enel in São Paulo, and Equatorial Energia in the Northeast under ANEEL rules.
