SCENE 01 / WIRELESS AUDIO SYSTEMS
Wireless Audio Systems
Professional wireless microphones and RF coordination for productions throughout Brazil.
Here is how this works in practice. Wireless audio systems give cable-free transmission of microphone signals, intercom feeds, and tracking audio across production sets. We set up frequencies compliant with ANATEL rules across Brazilian locations, from dense urban RF environments in São Paulo to remote shoots in the Amazon. Digital wireless technology delivers reliable, high-quality audio transmission that gives talent freedom of movement and sound departments flexibility in complex shooting environments.
Here is the short of it. We source wireless audio systems with the channel capacity and frequency planning your production demands across Brazil. Our team handles range scanning compliant with ANATEL Brazilian frequency rules, system setup, and backup gear to make sure interference-free wireless audio performance across your shoot, no matter location complexity.

Lectrosonics, Wisycom, and Sennheiser Digital 6000 wireless mic + IFB + comms stacks with full ANATEL frequency licensing across Brazil's specific TV-band allocation
Here is how this works in practice. Brazil's RF allocation differs materially from US and EU norms, so wireless audio planning here starts at ANATEL's frequency-licensing desk before it starts at the gear cart. The Brazilian 470–698 MHz TV-broadcast band is partially reallocated (700 MHz LTE has eaten the upper band the way it did in most countries), the 902–928 MHz ISM band is partially ready, and the 1.9 GHz DECT band carries production-comms traffic in São Paulo and Rio.
Here is how the picture comes together. On the ground, US-spec Lectrosonics SR / SRc, Wisycom MTK952, and Sennheiser Digital 6000 packs need to be re-blocked to Brazilian-cleared frequencies — we run that block-survey and ANATEL filing 15–30 days ahead of shoot date. Standard kits run Lectrosonics SRc + DCHR + DSQDe receivers with SMQV / SMDWB / DBSMD transmitters, Wisycom MCR54 + MTK952 + MTH400 stacks, and Sennheiser Digital 6000 EM 9046 + SK 6212 / SKM 6000 packs. Comm side runs Riedel Bolero standalone or Bolero-S MotorSport, Clear-Com FreeSpeak II / IV, and Comtek M-216 / PR-216 IFB.
Here is the short of it. The Brazilian RF environment is also one of the more challenging on the continent. Sambódromo Marquês de Sapucaí (Niemeyer 1984) Carnaval February delivers wall-to-wall RF saturation across 30+ live blocos plus broadcast trucks plus crowd cellular density. Lollapalooza Brasil at Autódromo Interlagos São Paulo (since 2012) and Rock in Rio (since 1985, 700K+ attendance) run dedicated RF planning across the entire festival site. F1 Interlagos São Paulo Grand Prix and Maracanã / Allianz Parque event work runs N+1 RF redundancy to FIA / CBF broadcast spec.
Here is what we have to work with. On the ground, Tropical humidity (80–95% Rio / Salvador / Recife / Manaus year-round) demands desiccant in each body-worn pack, IP-rated outdoor covers, and saltwater-rinse protocols after any coastal shoot. Maracatu, Frevo Pernambuco UNESCO 2012, Bossa Nova, Samba UNESCO Intangible, MPB heritage, and indigenous-language work across 305 peoples and 274 languages all run wireless capture through this stack. ANCINE sign-ups + CLT / FGTS 8% / 13º salário budgeted across freelance. FUNAI permits required before Terras Indígenas wireless work.
FAQ
Wireless Equipment Inventory
What wireless systems do you provide?
Here is the breakdown. We give pro wireless systems from top manufacturers including Lectrosonics (Digital Hybrid, DSQD), Wisycom (MCR series), Sennheiser (Digital 6000, EW series), and Audio Ltd (A10). System selection depends on your production needs, budget, and operating environment.
How do you handle frequency coordination in Brazil?
Here is what that looks like on the ground. We manage frequency planning according to Brazilian RF rules (ANFR). This has range scanning at your locations, planning with other shoots sharing venues, and making sure compliance with licensed frequency bands. We handle the tech complexity so your production stays legal and interference-free.
What lavalier microphones do you recommend?
We give premium lavaliers from DPA (4060, 4061, 6060), Sanken (COS-11), and Countryman (B6). Microphone selection depends on application—we recommend based on concealment needs, sound traits, and compatibility with wardrobe and talent.
Can you support large multi-channel productions?
Yes. We often support shoots needing 20, 30, or 40+ wireless channels. This has feature films, large-scale commercials, and live events. We give frequency planning, enough receivers, backup systems, and skilled operators to manage complex wireless deployments.
What about IFB and communication systems?
We give IFB (interruptible foldback) systems for talent earpieces, director communication, and live broadcast applications. This has Comtek, Lectrosonics IFB, and Shure PSM systems, set up with your production's wireless microphone frequencies.
Do wireless systems come with operators?
Wireless gear can be rented standalone or with skilled sound teams who handle all wireless management. For complex deployments, we recommend including operators who specialize in RF planning and talent wiring.
